About the client
Barbershop relied mainly on organic traffic: signage, word of mouth, and a little activity on social media. But organic traffic did not bring a steady stream of customers, and the advertising they tried on their own did not work at all. The cost of acquiring a customer (CAC) reached $17—with an average check of $20-25, the business was not actually profitable from the first visit.

They didn't understand where to get a quality stream of new customers and how to make marketing really pay off. The task was to build a system for attracting customers, reduce CAC to at least $10, and make each new customer profitable from the very first haircut.

Goals and objectives

#1
Reduce CAC to a level where the first customer visit becomes profitable
#2
Maintain or improve lead quality
#3
Build a stable local lead generation system

What we did

Conducted an audit of the advertising account
Created a simple conversion landing page on Tilda
Launched a geo-targeted funnel: narrowed the audience by interests and intentions
We completely redesigned the creatives and advertising logic, and connected Google Analytics for tracking
We focused on offline traffic and intensive retargeting of those who interacted.

Results

In three months, we reduced CAC from $17 to $7, which allowed the barbershop to turn a profit from the very first haircut. With a budget of $2,500/month, the business gained over 350 new customers and approximately $10,500–12,000 in additional revenue from first visits. Taking repeat visits into account, the effect exceeded $30,000. Additionally, we tested applications through Direct (25-30% cheaper than from the landing page) and prepared scripts for employees, which increased the conversion rate. As a result, a system with a predictable flow of customers and stable monthly profits was created. On this basis, the business decided to scale up and expand its network.

For local businesses, it's not just traffic that's key, but geo-targeting and a short conversion chain. It's important to focus on real visits, simplicity of customer solutions, and repeat visits. In this niche, strong retargeting and clear local segmentation work better than broad coverage.
